It's finally here. The Chatbox Winston Cup Series has reached its final destination for Season 3. Atlanta marks the Chevrolet Championship Weekend Sponsored By Cracker Barrel.
Tuesday Night, 42 drivers will look to hoist the Cracker Barrel 200 trophy, but 9 drivers have a possible shot at hoisting what they set sights on at the start of the season; the Winston Cup Championship Trophy.
As it stands entering the 200 mile event, Elliott Henderson leads by 10 points over Kevin Conway, but behind those him are 7 other drivers with a shot of winning the championship.
Realistically, the bottom two in the bunch will likely not be the winners of the championship, but look for them to strategize and find a way to put themselves in the best position if anything happens to championship hopefuls.
Here's where the title contenders in the field will start.
Currently first in the Cup Standings, Elliott Henderson will start in 3rd position. We'll see if he can use track position to his advantage.
Currently second in the Cup Standings, Kevin Conway will start dead last in 42nd. He definitely has his work cut out for him if he wants to come back to win.
Currently third in the Cup Standings, John Hooper Jr. will start 35th, and will also be playing the strategy game.
Currently fourth in the Cup Standings, Sean Bretherick earned a top 10 start. He will start 9th.
Currently fifth in the Cup Standings, Zach Holcombe will start on the outside pole, and while a longshot for the cup, crazier things have happened.
Currently sixth in the Cup Standings, Daniel Ruppel slowed a bit from practice and will start 20th.
Currently seventh in the Cup Standings, Jacob Sampson earned a top 5 start and also had a great car in practice.
Currently eighth in the Cup Standings, Richard Petersen has consistently been in the mid-teens in practice and qualifying. He starts 17th.
Currently ninth in the Cup Standings, Tim Kunkel improves on his poor practice speeds and will start 15th.
During the post race, we will be interviewing both the Cracker Barrel 200 winner and the newly crowned Winston Cup Champion. Who will they be? Find out tonight on the Chatbox Sports Network!
